Each year we dedicate a noisy can collection to Heifer International.  Heifer International is on a mission to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way by supporting and investing alongside local farmers and their communities.  They are working to end world hunger in 19 countries across four continents. Heifer works in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, the United States of America and Zambia.  A visit to their website will show you the range of work they are doing to help make the recipients self sufficient.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
This is one of the missions that we work on all year.  Throughout the year we collect items to be included in the shoe boxes which we pack in the fall.  We have created a special "Operation Christmas Child"  page on our website where we list the types of items we include in the shoe boxes as well as what items we are in need of.  We will update this list often.
