First, as our congregation is growing the limited space in the entryway has not been conducive to Fellowship before and after services. Fellowship time is a very important part of being a Christian. Second, currently the Pastor's office is located upstairs next to the Sunday School Room. While there is heat for the winter, during the summer there is no ventilation and the heat becomes unbearable. Also, the stairs are steep and narrow, making access difficult, especially for those with physical limitations. Lastly, when we have meetings in the Sanctuary it is difficult for all to hear when someone is speaking and the atmosphere is not conducive to sharing ideas. One of the main principles of our Church organization is the involvement of all members and not some outside restraints or a single individual. By adding a 20' X 27' addition to the rear of the Church with access from the Sanctuary, we would have a Fellowship Hall where we could hold meetings, Bible Study, Operation Christmas Child Packings, and before and after Service Fellowship.
